Woot

Flaming Crab Anyone?

This will allow you to tame pets that you want, with appearance buffs that you like. If a mob has a non-timed appearance-effecting buff on it, and you tame it with this method, it should keep the buff.

* Tameable mobs whose buffs dissipate on death will be for show only, as the buff will clear on pet death (and player death).

* When used on pets that have a buff that persists after death (The Lone Hunter, Oil-Stained Wolf etc), the buff WILL REMAIN after player death, so the pets are quite useable. This is an alternative way to quickly tame pets with appearance buffs without the hassle of timers.

Step 1: Find a pet with a buff you like.

Step 2: Trigger the pet's appearance change, if necessary.

Step 3: Tame Beast, and spam the following macro as the tame completes: /script PetAbandon()

Step 4: If it went well, the pet will be gone, but you will "already have an active summon" when you attempt to retame another. Relog, and your new shiny pet will be there.

Step 5: NEVER let it die >.> Also, do NOT die, yourself, while the pet is out. I have confirmed that this will also wipe the pet's buffs. (This step applies only to mobs who lose their appearance upon death while in the wild)

The mechanics of this: It makes the pet despawn as it becomes a pet, avoiding the "wiping the buffs" event. Be aware that pets tamed in this fashion take a relog to show, and will be set to Aggressive by default; you will also need to manually pull their abilities onto the Pet Bar from the Spellbook. Also keep in mind that this pet will (in the manner of Garwal, the Oil-Stained Wolf etc) appear as a normal tamed version of that mob (white wolf if ghost wolf, etc) on the log-in and pet screens.

See this page for more Ghost Wolf pics and Ghost Wolf-specific info.

Try it on these, and let me know if it works!

Deathwing is Coming

One of Azeroth’s oldest adversaries will soon tear through the Elemental Plane to reforge the world in flame, but this foe won’t be conducting his reign of terror from the confines of a castle or lair. Deathwing is a destructive force the likes of which adventurers have yet to see in World of Warcraft, and his appetite for devastation can only be satisfied by the shattering of the world. Following his explosive escape from Deepholm, Deathwing will cast a deadly shadow over the people of Azeroth as he wreaks indiscriminate havoc across the land.

Once free to terrorize the world, Deathwing will randomly choose territories in Azeroth to attack each day until his ruinous reign is brought to an end. A blackened sky will be the only warning before every living creature caught in his approach is consumed by his terrible fire. The unfortunate victims of his malice will receive a rare Feat of Strength... as well as a repair bill and corpse run.

When Deathwing returns, you'd best keep your eyes on the skies.

Trick or Treat!

Once again Hallow's End begins and 1 more chance for us to complete the yearlong meta What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been rewarding the Violet Proto-Drake. It is confirm that the drake will grant u 310% speed which would cost you 5000g to learn as the new master riding skill. The Horseman also drop the rare mount The Horseman's Reins. Anyway let me refresh you abit on what are the tasks that needed to be done in this festival.

Trick or Treat!
As the holiday goes live, big candy buckets suddenly appear in inns all around Azeroth. Right-clicking one will give you a handful of candy with random sweets granting small buffs:
This is by far the easiest of all achievements needed.

The Savior of Hallow's End
Brill, Razor Hill, Falconwing Square or Bloodhoof Village for the Horde is regularly attacked by the Headless Horseman, who sets several buildings on fire. Your task is to talk to the visiting Orphan Matron and then help the locals by dousing the flames using a bucket, and in each town there'll be a centrally-located water barrel.

DC if you not carefull

Bring Me the Head of ... Oh Wait
Killing the Headless Horseman is the only requirement.

That Sparkling Smile
Easy but you'll have to suffer through a little RNG for it. Very frustrated and time consuming and depend on your luck.

Tunn finally get his GNERD Rage

G.N.E.R.D. Rage
All you need to do is get 50 honorable kill in any Battlegrounds while under the influence of the G.N.E.R.D.S. buff. Time consuming.

The Masquerade
Random reward from the treat bags innkeepers will give you once per hour. You be needing some help here from guilmates.

Tricks and Treats of Azeroth
Again not hard, it just time consuming and need to to run all over the places. Boring.

Out With It
Just keep eating the Treats, until u puke.

Rotten Hallow
Both quests are given by Darkcaller Yanka, who's located outside Undercity. She'll give you both Rotten Eggs and Stinking Up Southshore, involve a trip to the Hillsbrad Foothills.
  • Rotten Eggs requires you to enter the Southshore inn, although you don't have to stay there long. See the big stack of kegs in the central room immediately on entering? Right-click the topmost and that should finish the quest.
  • Stinking Up Southshore requires you to toss three Forsaken Stink Bomb Clusters within the town limits. If you're playing a higher-level character, you can generally do this without attracting any unwanted NPC attention. If you're playing a character in more danger of the level 35 guards, you may find it easier to approach the town from the docks, or die on the inn's second floor, resurrect, and then throw the stink bombs there.
Check Your Head
Weighted Jack-o'-Lanterns are obtainable from three different sources:
  • frequently dropped by the Headless Horseman
  • contained in the large flaming pumpkin left on the ground when the Headless Horseman is defeated in level 10 towns (see The Savior of Hallow's End, above)
  • rewarded by the Let the Fires Come/Stop the Fires daily
Sinister Calling
There are two ways to obtain these items:
  • get them as a random drop from the Headless Horseman
  • get them as a random drop from the treat bags given by innkeepers

I dunno if this is a bugged or not but Anzu will already be there waiting to get his feathers plucked. Good Luck and my hunter got it in 2nd try and life a bitch.

It is begun.................

The Battle for Gilneas Battleground - Preview

The Battle for Gilneas is a new 10 vs. 10 Battleground for level-85 players. Teams must control strategic capture points on the map to accumulate resources. The first team to gather 2000 resources wins.

Teams will start at opposite ends of the map with default graveyards nearby. Once the match begins, teams will race toward each other to vie for control of three strategic points; each point will allow your team to gain resources and additional graveyards. Adding to the intensity of the battle are many obstacles that block line of sight, as well as chokepoints for fending off enemy advances.

In The Battle for Gilneas, three distinct resource points are available for the taking by either the Horde or the Alliance: the Mines, the Lighthouse, and the Waterworks. Once any of these points is held by a team, access to nearby graveyards will be granted. In addition, workers from the controlling faction will show up to collect the resources necessary to win the battle.

In the center of the map is an area known as the Overlook. Hills on either side of the map create chokepoints, while narrow paths through the hills provide teams with alternate routes. A river dividing the map will also lead opponents toward a single bridge. In some cases, dominating the Overlook might be the key to controlling the capture points.

Chaos will be unleashed upon Azeroth when Deathwing returns, but many steadfast leaders will see the Cataclysm as an opportunity to further the cause of their people... or simply attain more power. The situation in Gilneas is no different. Will the embattled Gilneans be able to defend their land after realigning with the Alliance? Or will the Forsaken, reinforced by Garrosh's Horde, seize this near-forgotten territory as a new stronghold in the Eastern Kingdoms?

Cataclysm Coming?

So is Cataclysm coming? Yes and No I guess. Blizzard just released the 1st part of patch (1.58GB) file. If you are smart better start downloading that file.

Zalazane Must Fall! and Operation: Gnomeregan Imminent! is LIVE

The first 2 pre-Cataclysm event is LIVE. Both is different storyline and depends on which faction you playing. There is A Feat of Strength (Zalazane's Fall) achievement for anyone who interested. Once you finish all the quests you will be rewarded with a cool cloak (not) and 1 item that changes you in a Darkspear Troll for 30m with a 4 hour CD (sigh).

Cataclysm Currency and Honor

Hard to get gold? Don't worry Blizzard are here to save the day. NOT!

Here's some information on how each of the currencies will be converted in the next content patch. Keep in mind these values may change, and they can get a bit math heavy. Just know that our intent is to appropriately value each mark and provide a conversion we feel is fair.

The following items are immediately converted to gold:

Emblem of Heroism = 5.5 gold each
Emblem of Valor = 5.5 gold each
Emblem of Conquest = 5.5 gold each
Badge of Justice = 1.833 gold each

Your New Honor Points total will be the sum of the following amounts:

Old Honor * 0.024
Old Arena Points * 0.85
Battleground Mark of Honor * 2.976
Wintergrasp Mark of Honor * 19.08
Stone Keeper Shard * 1.6
Venture Coin * 3
Spirit Shard * 1

Your Justice Points total will be equal to (Emblems of Triumph + Emblems of Frost ) * 2.75

Again, the softcap for both Honor and Justice conversions is 4000 points. This means that if a character converts to above 4,000 points, it will not be possible for them to earn more until they fall below the 4,000 cap.

A hardcap will be implemented in a following patch before Cataclysm's release. At that time, any excess points above 4,000 will be converted as follows:

Honor points above 4,000 are converted to gold at a rate of 35 silver per point of Honor.
Justice points above 4,000 are converted to gold at a rate of 2 gold per point of Justice.

Hall of Origination

I found this nice guide for at Tankspot.com for the new 5 man dungeon, Hall of Origination. Seem the dungeon is not that hard or maybe they outgeared them I dont know. It's a 7 boss dungeon and I would say that it should be a big 5 man dungeon compare to woltk's. CC should be your new friend unless you guys forget what CC is :)

25man Raid

OOC in Wintergraps BG

This is my latest UI that I have been using the past few months. I still need a few more tweaks to get it done although I'm satisfed with the way it look. I like my UI to be clean with low memory usage. I could use some other mods which uses lower memory but most of them required you to have basic or intermidiate skill of LUA understanding which I don't have.

The total usage for my UI usually arounds 14-16mb on normal usage but this can goes up to 20mb when in raids and depending on which mods are active.

Anyway here are the list of add-on that I currently use. Most of them can be downloaded from WOWINTERFACE or CURSE.
