Eazy mode

With the upcoming patch 3.2, all dungeon will drop only 1 type of emblem which is Emblem of Triumph. This is the next Tier emblem for T9. This is the most radical changes that Blizzard have made mostly for the casuals to catch up with the Hardcore players. As you know, we can change the emblems from Triumph to Conquer to Valor to Heroism. You can only downgrade but not upgrade those emblems. The exchange rate is 1 to 1. This means casual players can run only heroics dungeon and still can get T8.5 set and epics level gears.

Well most people with start qq-ing but Blizzard had stated that this had to be done to make sure that the people who didn't raid or can't raid get the gears fast and catch up with the hardcores players. This is the same idea behind the emblems when BC came out. It will take a casual player about 530 emblems to gear up his toon to ULDAR 25man level. This can be achieved with mix of epics and T7/T7.5/T8 and finally T8.5. Even T9 also is easy to get with the upcoming patch.

This will probally make Naxxaramas the popular dungeon again because many people will be already overgeared for it and for the fresh 80's to get some gears before they had enough emblems to buy the next tiers gears. In 1 month a fresh (casual) 80's could be geared well enough for ULDAR 25man. Talk about easy mode.

Another change that Blizzard did was all gears (iL258 below) is purchaseable with emblems. I do agree that this is a welcome change which will make alot of people (casual) happy but this will also bring up a problem. Why would people spend their emblems on gears with iL232 when gears with iL245 will only cost 50% more. This will make the lower tiers be ignored. There is no point to buy them when you can get higher level gears later. This is still being argued all over in forums.

All I can say is just wait for the patch and see how it goes.

Andrige's Skins

Since BLIZZARD annouce that they will update our druid shapeshifts skins, that made me remember this video made by a modder named Andrige. His skins is by far more beautiful then that of BLIZZARD's.

I really like the dire bear skins, this is how a bear should look like. Big, mean and scarry. His cat and travel form also look awesome. I don't really like the worgen look, it's just doen't feel right some how.

Eveyone can use the skins but the sad part was you have to use a model edit program. Don't ask me where to get them just find it yourself. Just don't let BLIZZARD caught you.

Low Level Tanking Set

Maybe I should make this for Emorage. The mats are dirt-cheap and easy to make and a level 360-375 Blacksmiths but the most important thing is the level requirement is level 70. As for DPS and Healing gears, I could grind Honor points or even get an arena team for point and just buy the PVP sets but thinking that I need to spend a gazillion hours just to buy gears that I most probally replace in a few level would be a waste of time. So what do you think, is it worth it or not?.

The complete set provides:
  • 310 Defense Rating
  • 362 Stamina
  • 11,331 Armor

The Complete set:
Total Materials: 41 x Cobalt bars (41 x cobalt ores)

Algalon 25 Man Down

Ensidia Ranked 1 in the world has just completed WOTLK by killing Algalon The Observer 25 Man mode. According to them this fight is much more difficult then the 10 man version as it is not an easy fight and very highly gear dependent. Source.

Algalon is a hard mode-only boss in Ulduar, found in the Celestial Planetarium. Players have a one-hour window to defeat him per lockout period. The Titans designed a fail-safe mechanism into Azeroth's defenses should they fail, and as one of its watchers, Loken's death alerted them to possible distress.

In response, Algalon the Observer was sent by the Titans to analyze the level of systemic corruption in Azeroth and report back status "Alpha" or "Omega." If status "Omega" is reported, the Titans will "re-originate" the planet, cleansing it of corruption— but also killing everything currently living on it.

Emorage Got Nexts

Emorage is getting bored being left out in Nagrand. Everday he open his mails, DE-ing and prospecting stuff from and for my other characters. His main profession, Jewelcrafting which is now 450 is too good be left out not using. The only problem with this was in order to learn new recipes, he need to learned from the trainer in Northern and for the higher recipes in Dalaran by doing the Jewelcrafting Dailies.

If I wanted to level him fast I need to make sure he is ready, which means craft him a new gear. He is currently using Crusader's Scaled Battlegear, The Oathkeeper and random crafted greens. While I can probally buy stuff from AH or craft him some new gears I do need to relearned how to play him as a retributions paladin. The last time I played him regulary was I was leveling with some guildie.

If he is gonna be a prot palladin, I really want to get him Thunderfurry, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker from Vanilla WOW. This gonna be awesome to weild this in low instance. But finding people for Molten Core runs is hard, gettin into Black Temple is much easier in Tichondrius.

Next thing I probally need to do is learn Dual Talent Specialization for him as I wanted to him to be either a Protection Paladin or a Holy Paladin. This is because everyone need a tank or a healer on lower level and find these 2 classes is really hard. I'm pretty sure that I can get him to 80 in 3-4 zones of questing. I can be faster if I managed to grind instances while leveling. This is where leveling guild can come very handy.

Anyway Emperess still need new gears and geared up first only then I can spend time with my noob paladin. Cheers.

Alts and Professions

Since I don't really raid anymore all I'm doing now is leveling alts and their professions. This is a good practice for me to learn how to level a profession fastest and cheapest. To level I'm using this guide.

I manage to get Emorage Jewelcrafting to 450 without setting foot in dalaran. His 2nd profession are Enchanting which i stop leveling at 380ish. Why I stop? Maybe it's not worth it yet since I'm not gonna levelhim to 80 anytime soon.

For my warlock Emperess, she is 450 Herbalist and 422 Alchemy. She just hit 80 a few days ago and already I burned almost 2k on her gears and mount training. I don't really care about money as I still have Zul'drak, Sholazar Basin, The Storm Peaks, and Icecrown zone to explore and quests to be done. There should be like 2-3k gold there. Back to Alchemy, according to the guide, I can use [Transmute: Earthsiege Diamond] to get to 435 and stop there as almost all recipe only need that level to make with only 1 exception [Transmute: Eternal Might] which need 445 to learn.

As for Itheriel my priest he is only 46 Herbalist and 126 Inscriptions. This because he is only level 12 and the low mats are really expensive. Stupid expensive, and I don't really play him much anymore.

Mata was supposed to be my next level 80 alts with Tailoring and Enchanting as her professions. But I stop leveling her at level 29. Both of her profession are at 225 which is the maximum skill you can get at level 29. Oh well maybe I'll level her soon.

As for Spoock my level 34 elemental shaman, I choose Blacksmithing and Mining for his profession. Although it's not a very good choice, but I choose Blacksmith over Engineering because it's more easier to leveled. Blacksmith is 1 of 2 professions that I had least experience leveling. With 157 Blacksmith and 176 Mining it's not that hard to level as I'm taking my time leveling him.

So overall I got Tunn as 445 Enchanter/446 Leatherworker, Tikus as 450 Skinner/450 Miner, Emperess as 422 Alchemy/450 Herbalist, Emorage as 450 Jewelcrafter/369 Enchanter, Itheriel as 126 Inscripter/46 Herbalist, Mata as 225 Tailor/225 Enchanter and Spoock as 176 Miner/156 Blacksmith.
