Quel'Delar

Finally Tunn got a new tanking weapon AKA Lightborn Spire. This is one of the rewards that you can choose from the Quel'Delar's chain questline. Pretty much the BiS if you can't get into a raid. You can start by obtaining Battered Hilt either get lucky in the 3 new instances or buy it from AH if you got the money to burn.

The Battered Hilt
Bring the Battered Hilt to Myralion Sunblaze at Quel'Delar's rest, south of the Argent Tournament Grounds. Pretty much straightforwad. Just sit and watch.


What The Dragons Know
Speak to Krasus at the top of Wyrmrest Temple. Then off you go to meet the NPC in the Horde only inn in Dalaran.

The Silver Covenant Scheme
Obtain the Orders by killing an NPC in the Dalaran Sewers. The NPC is standing directly infront of the inn keeper in the sewer.

A Suitable Disguise
Obtain a Borrowed Tabard from Shandy Glossgleam. He is upstairs in the Threads of Fate, if you are standing in front of the stairs with the Violet Citadel to your back. It's a fairly easy mini game of simon says.

An Audience With The Arcanist
Retrieve the Ancient Dragonforged Blades tome from Arcanist Tybalin. Use the disguise and go in the Alliance section of Dalaran. He's on the second floor on the right side building.

Return To Myralion Sunblaze
Bring the Ancient Dragonforged Blades to Myralion Sunblaze at Quel'Delar's Rest.

Reforging The Sword
Obtain 5 Infused Saronite Bars and the Forgemaster's Hammer and use them to make the Reforged Quel'Delar. All you need to do is zone into POS on normal or heroic mode loot the quest items and kill the first boss.

Tempering The Blade
Temper the Reforged Quel'Delar in the Crucible of Souls. Agin same as above but now its in FOS. The forge is behind the last boss which you need to kill.

The Halls Of Reflection
Bring your Tempered Quel'Delar to Sword's Rest inside the Halls of Reflection. You can leave after you completed you task.

Journey To The Sunwell
Speak with Halduron Brightwing at the entrance to the Sunwell Plateau on the Isle of Quel'Danas.He is directly infront of the sunwell portal instance.

Thalorien Dawnseeker
Visit Thalorien Dawnseeker's Remains and obtain his blessing to wield Quel'Delar. It is located at the south part of the map. Talk to ghost and fight 3 wave of mobs and a named boss.

The Purification of Quel'Delar
Immerse your Tempered Quel'Delar in the Sunwell. Speak to a Warden of the Sunwell when you are ready to enter the Sunwell Plateau. Watch how the BloodElf leader made a fool of himself.

A Victory For The Sunreavers (Sword) / A Victory For The Sunreavers (Mace)
Head back to Myralion Sunblaze at Quel'Delar's rest, south of the Argent Tournament Grounds and choose you reward.

You also will get an achievement The Sword in The Skull.

Winter Veil is Here

Winter Veil - Achievements Guide
Merrymaker is part of What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been to get the Violet Proto-Drake. I assume that most of you will try to complete it, here is a small guide to help you becoming a Merrymaker!

On Metzen!
You need to complete Metzen the Reindeer, Metzen is still in the Searing Gorge for the alliance and in Tanaris for the horde, just like all the other years. You can check the map on wowhead. The quests for this achievement start in Orgrimmar.

Scrooge / Scrooge
Another "free" achievement, just buy a [Snowball] and throw it at Cairne Bloodhoof in Thunder Bluff depending on your faction. Very easy to complete.

'Tis the Season
To complete this achievement you will need a full set of Winter clothing.

• [Red Winter Clothes] / [Green Winter Clothes] are crafted by tailors.
• [Winter Boots] are crafted by leatherworkers.
• [Red Winter Hat] and [Green Winter Hat] are slightly more difficult to obtain. You will need to drop them from various bosses in instance but don't worry you can mostly duo it.
• [Red Winter Hat] - Grand Magus Telestra (The Nexus), Jedoga Shadowseeker (Ahn'kahet),
• [Green Winter Hat] - Mage-Lord Urom (The Oculus)
  

The last part of the achievement is the [Graccu's Mince Meat Fruitcake] is contained in [Smokywood Pastures Extra-Special Gift] and [Smokywood Pastures Sampler], they will be mailed to you after freeing Metzen (see the first achievement) or completing Treats for Greatfather Winter.

Simply Abominable
Complete the Stolen Winter Veil Treats questline. They require you to talk to the Strange Snowman in Alterac Mountains to get a quest to kill The Abominable Greench

Bros. Before Ho Ho Ho's
When you're done laughing at the name of the achievement, you can check the small guides in Wowhead comments for both faction:

• Horde
• Alliance

Alliance players have to talk to a lot more people, but Horde players have to go through Northrend (and eventually end up in Icecrown, it might be a problem for players below level 77). The hardest part of the achievement might be getting the [Mistletoe], to obtain it just type /kiss while targeting a Winter Reveler.

He Knows If You've Been Naughty
Open one of the presents underneath the Winter Veil tree once they are available. You only need to open ONE present and not all of them, it's basically another free achievement. The presents are only available from December 25th to January 2nd and you'll have to wait a few days before you can complete this one.

With a Little Helper from My Friends
Earn 50 honorable kills as a Little Helper from the Winter Wondervolt machine. The machines are outside Orgrimmar / Ironforge, just step into it to get a 30 minutes transformation buff and enter your favorite battleground to kill a few people! (Note that the transformation does NOT persist through death, you will have to finish/leave the battleground and get another transformation if you die)

Fa-la-la-la-Ogri'la
Complete Bomb Them Again! after transforming your mount with [Preserved Holly] / [Fresh Holly] rewarded from various quests and Winter Revelers during the event.

Crashin' & Thrashin'
This achievement requires to use the special ability of your [Crashin' Thrashin' Racer Controller] and smash other player's racer. This item is available from the presents under the christmas tree and won't be available before December 25th.

Let It Snow
During the Feast of Winter Veil, use a Handful of Snowflakes on each of the race/class combinations listed below. This achievement could be hard because the only way to get [Handful of Snowflakes] is by kissing Winter Revelers once an hour.

The Winter Veil Gourmet
Depending on your character, this might be the hardest achievement. It requires you to cook Gingerbread Cookie Egg Nog and Hot Apple Cider. The patterns are all available from the NPC, there are only two small problems:

• You will need [Small Egg] for two of these recipes, and will probably have to run to a low level zone to farm them along with 30 other players. (Buying them at 50G/stack at the AH is also an option)
• Hot Apple Cider require 325 cooking skill! If you never took the time to level your cooking, you will have to go through all the leveling just to complete this achievement.

A Frosty Shake
During the Feast of Winter Veil, use your [Winter Veil Disguise Kit] to become a snowman and then dance with another snowman in Dalaran. The [Winter Veil Disguise Kit] is one of the reward mailed to you after completing Stolen Winter Veil Treats.

Fall of The Lich King

This new trailer had just been added.

3.3 is Coming

So tonight patch 3.3 is going live. What should we expected? First of all the lag should be like any other patch day, which make you unplayable. Your UI gonna be broken until someone kind enough to updated it. Then AH should be filled with insane amount of highly then normal item priceses.

If you can live with that, go check out the cool new LFG mechanics, don't forget to choose "Random" and hope you get the new pet dog :). Check the new quest tracking mode also which will help you finish off the achievements just like me.

Just to remind you guys that, there will be 3 new 5 man dungeon The Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, Halls of Reflection which you need to clear one by one in order to progressed. Here's a quick video of the fights you will be facing and the loots too.

The Forge of Souls
It's portal is located on the left side of portal room portal, inside the secured area of Icecrown Citadel. No attunement is required, but completing the instance is required to gain entrance to the Pit of Saron. There only 2 bosses inside which are:

Pit of Saron
This is the second wing of the dungeon complex known as the Frozen Halls. The Forge of Souls must be completed before a player can access the Pit of Saron. 3 bosses awaits.
Forgemaster Garfrost
A master of Scourge weaponry, the forgemaster hauls stocks of saronite ore and other precious materials to the cold forges where the mechanisms of death are born. With a host of rime weapons and exotic alloys at his disposal, it could get cold in here.


Ick & Krick
Zombies serve as mindless muscle in the Pit of Saron's mines, stockpiling metals for Forgemaster Garfrost, and Krick a devious leper gnome supervises the operations from atop Ick, Krick's ghastly means of transportation.


Scourgelord Tyrannus
Tyrannus is a terrible force who will no doubt demonstrate his powers to those brave enough to enter the Pit of Saron. The scourgelord must die if players hope to make their way into the third and final wing of this dungeon.


Halls of Reflection
The third and last wing of the dungeon complex known as the Frozen Halls. The Forge of Souls and Pit of Saron must be completed before a player can enter the Halls of Reflection.
Falric & Marwyn
Captains for Arthas Menethil in life, Scourge commanders for the Lich King in death, Falric and Marwyn will be summoned to the Halls of Reflection for one purpose: destroying all intruders.


Wrath of the Lich King
Sylvanas, thirsty for vengeance against the corrupted prince who sentenced her to an existence as an undead monstrosity, and Jaina, eager to find a flicker of Arthas's soul locked somewhere within the Lich King, have brought their hand-picked allies to this final confrontation. Arthas's true power may only now be discovered. Is there any hope in this mission, or does only death await?

Shaman T10 Preview

The shaman T10 is already one of the best looking gear for upcoming expansion. This will be another reason for us to be jealous of it. You will get this bonus, periodically calls forth the spirits of the Shoveltusk to bolster the bearer's spirits in battle when you equip it. Chheck the video out and see for your self.

Pilgrim Festival

A new festival introduce in 2009, completing the Pilgrim meta-achievement will reward you with:

• Pilgrim Title
• The Plump Turkey companion pet

"FOOD FIGHT!"
Very easy. Just sit on one of the chair at a Bountiful table near any capital cities and use the Pass the ... (button 1) skill to target the chair of another player.


Sharing is Caring
Same as above and use the Pass the ... (button 1 ) skill to target one of the plate at the table. Just sit on all 5 chairs and do it for each food. Done.


Pilgrim's Paunch
Same as above but instead of pass you eat the food. Repeat it for all 5 chairs (Cranberries, Pie, Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Turkey). Getting 5 stacks of each food buff will reward you with The Spirit of Sharing, you have to do that in all your capital cities. Easy.


Pilgrim's Peril
Get a Pilgrim's Attire or Pilgrim's Dress or Pilgrim's Robe from one of the daily quests and pay a visit to the hostile capital cities. These are rewards from your daily quests. This either gonna be frustating or plain easy mode. Do it on off peak hours.

Now Were Cookin'
All the vendors next to the Bountiful Tables sell a Bountiful Cookbook for 1 silver, this book contains the 5 recipes added to the game with this holiday :

• Recipe: Candied Sweet Potato
• Recipe: Cranberry Chutney
• Recipe: Slow-Roasted Turkey
• Recipe: Spice Bread Stuffing
• Recipe: Pumpkin Pie

All the reagents required for these recipes are sold by the Bountiful Vendors in the various capital cities, this is clearly stated in the yellow text of each item : Tangy Southfury Cranberries. The only exception is the Spice Bread for Recipe: Spice Bread Stuffing but this is pretty much the first cooking recipe you learn and the reagents are available from any cooking supplies vendor.


Pilgrim's Progress
You will need to cook 20 food of each kind and bring to the npc in the 3 cities. Visit all the npcs, the quests are not random.

Terrokar Turkey Time
Go kill Talon King Ikiss while wearing a Pilgrim's Hat and a Pilgrim's Attire or Pilgrim's Dress or Pilgrim's Robe. You just need 2 of them. Btw you can done this in normal mode.

Turkey Lurkey
You need Turkey Shooters from the daily quests rewards to change rogues into turkeys. These just gotta be the most annoying and time consuming of them all. Good job Blizzard.


The Turkinator
Your need to kill 40 turkeys in a row in Tirisfal Glades or Elwynn Forest, killing a turkey will buff you with one stack of Turkey Tracker and you have 30 seconds to kill the next turkey. Time consuming and a bit annoying with all the players trying to do this.

Good News :) and Updates

The good news is I got my account restored back to me. As you can imagine Tunn/Emorage is completly naked and their bank are all empty. Tikus/Emperess is a bit lucky as they still have some gears with them but as always the bank contents is stolen. My other lower level alts are untouched in gears but their bank contents are empty. I am waiting for a specialist or GM to restored back these items when they finished  investigating my account.

On updates, have you seen the new shamman T10? They look awesome (second to druids :)). Well done Blizzard. I just love those shoulders.

Talking about gears have you seen some of the leathers? Aren't they seem too good? T10 for druids are already good with the set bonus is really good for bears. But did you notice something, there are not even 1 blue gem slot and hit on the gears. T10 pieces has huge amounts of agility and armor pen on every single piece. If you add up the stats,  you will end up with 444 armor pen and 726 agility from 5 piece of T10. These set bonus and gem slot are perfect for cats. Maybe these aren't done yet but I do think that blizzard will twink them abit more to fine tune it.

Maybe for bears you need to mix gears that are crafted or purchased with Emblem of Frost . Some good examples are Shadow Seeker's Tunic. These chest are pretty much on par with the best gear you can get from raid. Footpads of Impending Death and Bladeborn Legging are another excellent gears for bears, crafted by Leatherworking. Sentinels Winter Cloak is another win for bears and will be cheap to purchased.

For others slot like rings, trinkets, necklace weapons there are not many worth mentioning beside this Distant Land and Corroded Skeleton Key. Awesome stamina trinket.

This gonna be my saddest day in my WoW life. My account had just been hacked. This happen 1 week after I mrged my account with Battle.Net. Well all I need to do now is wait and hope I get back my 5 years of WoW back.

World first Tribute to Immortality

ENSIDIA had just completed the Trial of the Crusader in Heroic Mode without allowing any raid member to die on any encounter much like The Undying achievement in Naxxramas.They are the first guild in the world to complete A Tribute to Immortality, they were rewarded with a brand new Crusader's Black Warhorse, the alliance version is the Crusader's White Warhorse .

25man Valithria Dreamwalker

This is Cuties Only's first down of Icecrown Citadel 25 normal mode Valithria Dreamwalker encounter which they had just realeased. They are a horde guild from Kil'jaeden whom had released a few PTR video of 25man raids during last few weeks.

Valithria Dreamwalker is a captured green dragon whom the Scourge is using as a test subject for their own ends.





This fight is very different from what we been facing and it's one original fight. It's very refreshing that your raid need to heal instead kill the boss. You start with Valithria at 50%hp and she need to be healed to full health. A lot of adds will spawn from 4 corners of the room to prevent you from helping her and you will have to deal with them.

Day of the Dead

For the Day of the Dead festivities, the people of Azeroth and Outland gather in the graveyards of every major city to cook, eat, drink, don costumes, and more in celebration of those they've lost. Because the spirit world draws closest to the world of the living during this eerie holiday, we decorate the graves of our dearly departed with flowers and candles and offerings to welcome them back, even if only for a short while.

You also will get a pet Macabre Marionette a skeleton wearing a sombrero and holding a pair of maracas, which cannot be learnedor kept like normal pets. All you need to do is acquire some Bread of the Dead (recipe can be bought) and give it to the Cheerful Spirit.

Dance with Catrina
You will be granted an achievement DEAD MAN'S PARTY and a 12-hour buff, Honor the Dead if you dance with her, which will change your appearance to that of Catrina or Chapman, the graveyard vendor who also appears during this holiday.

3.3 updates, Nerfs of Buffs,

So as you all known there is gonna be a debuff Chill of the Throne (Source)which makes every player get -20% dodge. Yes it effects EVERYONE. Honestly I think druids will see more playing time instead. Why? Just read this awesome summaries by KALON at ThinkTank. He did very well.

There is only one thing that make me confuse. We will see more druids stacking stamina instead on agility now (it's already started) and we will have huge health pool. The best geared druid can get up to 69k health which is huge and that would make us takes more hits from other tank classes.

Yes agility means more armor/dodge to us in turns means more avoidance but unless your a special druid that stacked avoidance (you do?) druids won't be affected like some others tanking classes. Just read the post KALON did.

Gunship Airbattle

What the hell....A Gunship battle in WOW???? I think some BLIZZARD designer watch too much PotC trilogies too much.

Basiccally the goal of this encounter is to board the enemy gunship and reach the top of the citadel before the other faction. You will be helped by the leader of your faction and will be able to control turrets and board the enemy ship to take down the enemy crew.

Immo this is just another take at "world pvp" by BLIZZARD. Let's see if this gonna be a hit or a miss. Hope the lag won't kill it for me.

Lord Marrowgar

Lord Marrowgar is being tested and VODKA has just release a video of them fighting him. The fight doesn't seem that difficult.

Northrend's New Kalu'ak Fishing Derby!

Coming in patch 3.3.0, the esteemed tuskarr of the Kalu'ak are proud to introduce to Northrend the Kalu'ak Fishing Derby, a test of fishing skill with a healthy dash of luck! Every Wednesday beginning at 8 PM players can try to catch the elusive Blacktip Shark. Elder Clearwater sits in Dalaran for one hour awaiting the return of the quickest, most experienced fisher to bring him the first catch of the night. This champion fisher will be rewarded in-kind for his or her fishing expertise. Those who aren’t able to return with the first catch will still receive just reward for getting the Blacktip Shark to Elder Clearwater before he takes his leave.

It is said that these sharks’ favorite meal are the bite-sized Pygmy Suckerfish. Perhaps a hook in their waters will do the trick. Because of the increased concentration of fish, you have an increased chance to catch a shark from fishing pools. Don't forget, in patch 3.3.0 you never catch trash from fishing pools, regardless of skill.

The derby winner will receive a substantial chunk of experience (or money at maximum level) and gain 5000 reputation with the Kalu'ak. In addition, the champion will be given a choice between two unique rewards:

To keep it interesting, the Achievement "Master Angler of Stranglethorn" has been changed to "Master Angler of Azeroth." This can be earned by winning either the Kalu'ak Fishing Derby or the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza.

Please bear in mind this feature will be undergoing testing on our Public Test Realms and is subject to change prior to the release of patch 3.3.0.

There are 3 of these wicked Guardian just outside Wickerman Festival (Undercity). What so special about them you ask? Well if you can kill them you will get a buff which give you EXPERIENCE and REPUTATION increased 10% for two hours. If you are a lowbies just make sure you get a higher level friend to help you. Free six hours with this buff should help you out.

Hallow's End

I'm just listing the quests that you need for the Hallowed Be Thy Name and meta-achievements.

Trick or Treat!
This is very easy, just talk to any Inn Keeper. You won't get a handful of candy every time. You get a debuff which keeps you from Trick or Treating more than once an hour. You'll want to collect magic wands during the duration of the event.

Out With It
Another easy task, just eat 4-6 candy until your tummy hurts :).

Bring Me The Head of ... Oh Wait.
To obtain Bring Me The Head of... Oh Wait, you need to go Brill (easiest) and get the quest then go to the Scarlet Monastery and enter The Graveyard. You'll see a small altar and pumpkin. Interact with the objects there in order to summon the Headless Horseman.

The Savior of Hallow's End
Every hour, the Headless Horseman will attack one of your faction's starting zones. You get quests from Orphan Matrons. Brill is the nearest and easiest.

That Sparking Smile
If you Trick or treat every hour, you will eventually be granted a toothpick. Use it and your done.

Rotten Hallow
You've got to go to the Hillsbrad Foothills, and complete either the Horde or Alliance seasonal quests there. There are two quests that need to be done.

G.N.E.R.D. Rage
While sporting the buff from this candy, your task will be to kill 50 players of the opposing factions. Which means you need to go to any Battlegrounds.

Check Your Head
Weighted Jack-o'-Lanterns drop from the Headless Horseman, which means killing him regularly will make your life easier. To make it easier just go to Dalaran and find the races.

The Masquerade
You'll need to find other people who have already gotten their wands, and ask them to hit you with their wands. Very time consuming.

Sinister Calling
This is the most difficult Hallow's End achievement, since both the Sinister Squashling and the Hallowed Helm drop from the Horseman. Kill him enough time and win the roll and these will be yours.

Tricks and Treats of Azeroth
Easy! Simply hit all the inns included in the sub-achievements.

• Item - Druid T10 Restoration 4P Bonus (Rejuvenation) - Each time your Rejuvenation spell heals a target, it has a 2% chance to jump to a new target at full duration.
• Item - Druid T10 Balance 2P Bonus - When you gain Clearcasting from your Omen of Clarity talent, you deal 10% additional Nature and Arcane damage for 6 sec.
• Item - Druid T10 Balance 4P Bonus - Reduces the cooldown on your Eclipse talent by 6000.
• Item - Druid T10 Feral 2P Bonus - Your Swipe (Bear) and Lacerate abilities deal 20% additional damage and the cost of your Rip ability is reduced by 10 energy.
• Item - Druid T10 Feral 4P Bonus - Your Enrage ability no longer decreases your armor and instead decreases all damage taken by 12%, and the periodic damage done by your Rake ability can now be a critical strike.

Icecrown Citadel: The Frozen Halls

Icecrown Citadel will feature a massive five-player dungeon sprawling across three wings of the citadel's foundation. While the Lich King's attention is focused on the Argent Crusade and the Knights of the Ebon Blade ripping through the front gates, players will be tested as they assist Jaina Proudmoore (Alliance) and Sylvanas Windrunner (Horde) in infiltrating the citadel through an alternate entrance.

An epic quest line will present adventurers with the task of weakening Icecrown Citadel's forces, requiring that players defeat the challenges in each dungeon wing before venturing into the next one. Normal and Heroic versions of the dungeon will be accessible to players, although each wing will be considered a separate instance; therefore, on Heroic difficulty, each wing will have its own separate lockout timer. All-new rewards -- including item level 219 (normal) and level 232 (Heroic) loot -- will be offered to those who destroy some of the Lich King's most formidable allies.

The Forge of Souls
Serving as the first wing in this expansive dungeon, the Forge of Souls will quickly put players to the test of carving through the Scourge stronghold into deeper, more treacherous locations. Jaina will command Alliance forces, and Sylvanas will direct Horde forces. The goal is to ruin the twisted engines known as soul grinders found in this portion of the citadel, and then players can advance -- that is, if the Horde and Alliance forces can overcome the foes who confront them.

Bosses

* Bronjahm, the Godfather of Souls: An instrument of reckoning, Bronjahm watches over the engines in the Forge of Souls. He must be killed if the soul grinders are to be destroyed.
* The Devourer of Souls: As the chief operator of the engines found in this wing, the Devourer stands guard over the souls stolen by the Lich King.


Pit of Saron
Accessible only to those who have laid waste to the Forge of Souls' unholy operations, the Pit of Saron will bring Horde and Alliance forces deeper into the Lich King's domain. Players who venture here will immediately be confronted by the lord of this lair, Scourgelord Tyrannus. But defeating him will not be as easy as it seems. Before they can present a threat to Tyrannus, the adventurers, instructed by their leaders, will need to free enslaved allies who have been trapped by the Scourge. Until that happens, Tyrannus will leave all adversaries to his minions, workers of the citadel's mines. Perhaps the challenges here will lend clues as to the whereabouts of the Lich King's private chambers outside of the Frozen Throne, deep within the Halls of Reflection.

Bosses

* Forgemaster Garfrost: A master of Scourge weaponry, the forgemaster hauls stocks of saronite ore and other precious materials to the cold forges where the mechanisms of death are born. With a host of rime weapons and exotic alloys at his disposal, it could get cold in here.
* Krick and Ick: Zombies serve as mindless muscle in the Pit of Saron's mines, stockpiling metals for Forgemaster Garfrost, and Krick -- a devious leper gnome -- supervises the operations from atop Ick, Krick's ghastly means of transportation.
* Scourgelord Tyrannus: Tyrannus is a terrible force who will no doubt demonstrate his powers to those brave enough to enter the Pit of Saron. The scourgelord must die if players hope to make their way into the third and final wing of this dungeon.

Halls of Reflection
With Jaina and Sylvanas leading the way, adventurers who make it as far as these frigid halls will quickly recognize the weapon that lies ahead: Frostmourne, the corruptive, legendary device of the Lich King himself. The Lich King's private chambers are within reach, although they may be the death of anyone who ventures there.

Bosses

* Falric and Marwyn: Captains for Arthas Menethil in life, Scourge commanders for the Lich King in death, Falric and Marwyn will be summoned to the Halls of Reflection for one purpose: destroying all intruders.
* The Lich King: Sylvanas, thirsty for vengeance against the corrupted prince who sentenced her to an existence as an undead monstrosity, and Jaina, eager to find a flicker of Arthas's soul locked somewhere within the Lich King, have brought their hand-picked allies to this final confrontation. Arthas's true power may only now be discovered. Is there any hope in this mission, or does only death await?
